This is an original illustrated map of the City of Westminster, a borough of London, UK, inspired by decorative antique map prints and entirely hand-drawn and digitally coloured.

Its decoration scheme references the area's rich diversity, culture and history. The border decoration references the decorative embellishments around the clock face of Big Ben, the clock tower of the Houses of Parliament, whilst the compass design at the left echoes the design of the clock face itself. The coat of arms at bottom centre of the image is the official arms of the borough. The six coats of arms at the left represent (from top to bottom): the Earls of Bedford, whose estate was developed from the 17th century onwards into Covent Garden; the Grosvenor family, who still hold the title of Duke of Westminster and own land in the south of the borough including Mayfair, Belgravia and Pimlico; the Portman family, whose estate was developed from the 18th century onwards into Marylebone; St. Peter, whom Westminster Abbey is dedicated to; Edward the Confessor, the Anglo-Saxon king (d.1066) who founded Westminster Abbey; and finally, the portcullis which is the emblem of Parliament.

The two illustrations at bottom left shows the iconic statue of the Greek god Anteros (popularly and mistakenly known as "Eros") in Piccadilly Circus, and the illustration at top right shows Marble Arch, located at the north-eastern corner of Hyde Park at the junction of Oxford Street and Edgware Road.
