This is an original illustrated map of central London, UK inspired by decorative antique map prints, entirely hand-drawn and digitally coloured.
The map covers central London, roughly aligning with Transport Zone 1, and labels all major rail termini and Underground stations. Landmarks are illustrated in elevation, including key museums, churches, skyscrapers, and attractions.
The border features coats of arms for the eight boroughs partially or fully within the map area (Camden, Westminster, Hackney, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth, Southwark and Tower Hamlets) and the City of London. Four corner illustrations depict iconic scenes: views from Primrose Hill and Shoreditch, The Shard from the Thames, and the Eros statue at Piccadilly Circus.
