This unique map of the Canary Islands (Spanish: Islas Canarias), an overseas territory of Spain off the west coast of Africa and divided into the provinces of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas, is designed in a retro, mid-century style with period-style typefaces and a minimal colour palette of warm, summery tones.
The map displays the archipelago's seven main islands of El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, Lanzarote and Tenerife, with their principle cities and towns and surrounding minor islands and islets. The principle road networks and ferry routes to mainland Spain are also shown. The design is finished with a simple, elegant border, compass rose and title.
