Designed in 2013, this original illustrated map of Crouch End, a neighbourhood in north London, UK, is inspired by decorative antique map prints and is entirely hand-drawn and digitally coloured.

Its decoration scheme references the area's rich diversity, culture and history. The coats of arms at the right of the image with two trees and crossed swords are the arms of the old Borough of Hornsey, which was absorbed into the modern-day borough of Haringey in 1965. The second shield is an invented design, with a cross motif that references the origin of the name 'Crouch End' - Crux, Latin for 'cross'. The two illustrations at bottom left and top right depict Hornsey Town Hall and Crouch End clock tower.
