This original map of the modern railway network in Spain and Portugal is digitally rendered in the style of vintage railway maps from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
It shows all state-owned rail lines open to passenger and freight traffic as of March 2021—including Renfe, Comboios, and regional networks—as well as lines under construction. Railways are shown as solid black lines, with stroke styles indicating line type, from high-speed routes to narrow-gauge branches. Stations are marked with dots or circles, with larger cities shown as larger circles.
Place names are in English, with regional names alongside (e.g. "Alicante/Alacant"). The design is completed with an elegant border, title, and scale bar.
