Spain & Portugal railway map giclee print
Price excludes VAT
This unique map of the present-day railway network in Spain and Portugal is an original, digitally-rendered design that takes its inspiration from vintage railway maps.
It displays all state-owned railways lines within Spain and Portugal that are (as of March 2021) open to passenger and freight traffic, including the entire Renfe and Comboios networks and smaller regional networks.
All railways are represented by solid black lines, with stations marked with dots or circles; larger circles generally represent larger cities or important interchanges. A variety of stroke widths and styles represent each type of railway line, ranging from the thickest (high speed lines) to the thinnest (branch lines and single-track, narrow-gauge railways).
All names are written in their English exonyms, with co-official or alternative names in Spanish or regional languages written alongside, e.g. Alicante/Alacant.
The design is finished with a simple, elegant border and title with scale bar. For a full explanation about this map's design, visit this page on my portfolio website.
