New updated design for 2023

This unique map of present-day Valencia in Spain is an original, digitally rendered design, inspired by the elegant visual style, colours and typography of early twentieth-century guidebook maps.

Major streets and thoroughfares, railway termini, metro stations, tram lines, landmarks, parks, gardens, lakes and bridges are all carefully delineated and labelled. The courses of each underground metro line are depicted by dashed black lines.

The design covers a large area of the city including the districts of Benimaclet, El Cabanyal-Canyamelar, Ciutat Vella (El Carme, La Xerea, Sant Francesc), L'Eixample, Extramurs, La Malva-Rosa, Mont-Olivet, Patraix and Russafa, and features landmarks including Las Arenas, the Ayuntamiento, the Cathedral, the City of Arts and Sciences, Mercat Central, Mestalla stadium, Museum of Fine Arts and the University campuses.

The design is finished with a simple, elegant border and title, with a symbol key and scale bar along the bottom edge.

All names on the map are written in the local Valencian language.
